Our story begins many years back in 1979. Helen O'Grady, a trained teacher, drama expert and actress developed the Helen O'Grady Developmental Drama Programme in Perth, Australia. Her aim was to open the doors for children to explore their hidden potential and to offer an opportunity for them to develop:

  • Enthusiasm, Energy and a Positive Approach to Life
  • Ongoing Confidence
  • Self Esteem
  • Skills in Verbal Communication
  • Effective Social Interaction

In the words of Helen O’Grady herself:

“I am inspired by the power of the unique, development drama programme to influence and empower children of many races and cultures...Through the programme, thousands and thousands of young people find their voice, generate self-belief, become generous participants in life and experience much fun and fulfillment along the way.”

Now, the legacy of Helen O'Grady continues to inspire and challenge children around the world with the Helen O'Grady Developmental Drama Programme being established in over 30 countries.

The Helen O'Grady Development Drama Programme has now found another home in the city of Dubai, catering to the nearby emirates of the United Arab Emirates. The UAE has a population of over 9 million people with approximately 35% of this population being in the age category of 1-24 years of age.

Dubai is always buzzing with life and there are a lot of avenues where one can enjoy personal freedom as well as professional expertise. Children growing up in the UAE are exposed to this multi-cultural environment, where they can meet people and other children from different races and cultures.

MSD Training and Development Center, a KHDA approved and recognized entity, is proud to bring the Helen O'Grady Developmental Drama Programme to the children of the UAE. We are sure that this programme will build a better and more confident tomorrow for these children.
